Cruise control is a driver-assistance feature that automatically maintains a set vehicle speed without requiring the driver to keep pressing the accelerator pedal. It is especially useful on long highway journeys, helping reduce driver fatigue and improve driving comfort.
How Cruise Control Works
- Driver Sets a Speed
- Once the vehicle reaches the desired speed (usually above 30β40 km/h), the driver presses the SET button.
- Electronic Control Unit (ECU) Takes Over
- The vehicleβs ECU monitors the current speed using speed sensors.
- Automatic Throttle Adjustment
