In PrestaShop, the homepage slider is usually managed by a slider module. Most common one is PrestaShop default “Image Slider” module (ps_imageslider).
Here’s how you can change the slider images:
✅ Method 1: Change Slider Images from Back Office (Default Way)
Step 1: Login to Admin Panel
Go to:
yourwebsite.com/admin
Step 2: Go to Modules
➡ Modules > Module Manager
Search for:
Image Slider
(or sometimes called “Homepage slider”)
Step 3: Configure the Module
Click Configure button.
You will see:
- Existing slider images
- Title
- Description
- Button link
- Image upload option
Step 4: Edit or Replace Image
- Click Edit on existing slide
- Upload new image
- Change link / text if needed
- Click Save
✅ Method 2: If Using Another Slider Module
Sometimes themes use:
- Creative Slider
- Smart Slider
- Revolution Slider
- Custom theme slider
Then go to:
➡ Modules > Module Manager
Search for slider name (example: “Creative Slider”)
Then click Configure
✅ Method 3: If Slider is from Theme
Go to:
➡ Design > Theme & Logo
➡ Or Design > Positions
Check which module is hooked to:
displayHome
Then configure that module.
✅ Recommended Image Size
Most themes use:
- 1920 x 600 px (Full width slider)
- Or check recommended size inside slider module
Always:
✔ Use compressed images (WebP or optimized JPG)
✔ Keep size under 300–400 KB for better speed

Clear cache:
➡ Advanced Parameters > Performance
➡ Click Clear Cache
