As of my knowledge cutoff in September 2021, there was no release of PrestaShop 8.0. The most recent stable version of PrestaShop was 1.7.7.7, which was released in July 2021.
However, PrestaShop has announced that they are working on a major release, PrestaShop 1.8, which is expected to introduce significant new features and improvements. Some of the anticipated features of PrestaShop 1.8 include:
- A new back-office design and user interface
- Improved page loading speed
- Enhanced multi-language capabilities
- Native integration with the most popular payment gateways
- Advanced inventory management features
- Improved search engine optimization (SEO) capabilities
- Improved security features
- Improved customer management tools
- Improved reporting and analytics capabilities
