Prestashop how to enable disable debug mode & cache management

In PrestaShop, you can enable or disable the debug mode and manage caching settings from the back office.

Here are the steps to enable or disable the debug mode and manage caching settings:

Log in to the back office of your PrestaShop website.

Go to the “Advanced Parameters” section, and select “Performance”.

On the Performance page, you will see several options for managing caching and performance settings.

To enable or disable the debug mode, you can use the “Debug mode” option. When enabled, it will display detailed information about errors and warnings on the front end of your website.

To manage caching settings, you can use the following options:

“Clear cache” button to clear the cache manually
“Caching” option to enable or disable caching
“Smarty” option to enable or disable Smarty caching
“Media server (CDN)” option to enable or disable the use of a Content Delivery Network for media files
“Combine, Compress, and Cache” option to enable or disable the combination, compression, and caching of CSS and JavaScript files
“Minify HTML” option to enable or disable the minification of HTML code

Once you have made your changes, be sure to click “Save” to apply them.

Note: Enabling or disabling the debug mode and caching settings can have an impact on the performance of your website. It is recommended to test these settings on a staging environment before applying them to a live website.
