Magento how to add recaptcha

To add Google reCAPTCHA to your Magento website, you need to perform the following steps:

  1. Register for a reCAPTCHA account by going to the reCAPTCHA website (https://www.google.com/recaptcha) and clicking the “Get reCAPTCHA” button.
  2. Follow the instructions to set up a new site, and obtain the reCAPTCHA site key and secret key.
  3. Log in to your Magento back office.
  4. Go to the “Stores” menu and select “Configuration.”
  5. Go to the “Customers” section, and then click on the “Customer Configuration” option.
  6. Scroll down to the “Google reCAPTCHA” section.
  7. Enable the “Google reCAPTCHA” option.
  8. Enter the reCAPTCHA site key and secret key that you obtained in step 2.
  9. Choose the pages where you want to display reCAPTCHA, such as the login, contact, and registration pages.
  10. Save your changes.

Your Magento website should now have reCAPTCHA enabled, helping to protect against spam and automated bots.

Note: If your Magento installation doesn’t have the “Google reCAPTCHA” option, you can install a third-party extension to add this feature. You can search for “Magento reCAPTCHA extension” in Google to find a suitable extension for your website.
